For the first time in history the Embassy of Mexico, in conjunction with Mexico Tourism Board and Mexican Cultural Institute, will host “A Taste of Mexico in D.C.,” a festival to honor Mexico’s uniqueness and diversity and which will take place next September.

In order to celebrate our country, its diversity and uniqueness, we dedicate a one-week journey through Mexico's culture, travel destinations, cuisine and values.

As Mexicans, we certainly believe that gastronomy is an essential part of any society. People who have visited Mexico, know it very well but if you have not, get ready! We have prepared a menu with the most representative Mexican dishes throughout our territory, seasons and historical times - and we are convinced this is the time for you to have a taste of it!

From September 6 to 12 we will bring to five local restaurants- Rosa Mexicano, Zengo, Oyamel, Casa Oaxaca and Mio, the flavors of Mexico's different regions. Enjoy the activities we will have for the great opening and then take your table to enjoy the creations that chefs of our participating restaurants prepared teaming up with well-known Mexican chefs invited.
